OMG! I got accepted into Matchstick's Promotion for MAYBELLINE!! EIIII!! I'm soooooo excited! According to roseofblack25 on SmartCanucks, we get: 12 Color Plush Ready-to-Wear Palettes, 10 Colour Pearls Marbellized Eye Shadows. 4 Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliners, and 4 XXL Pro Mascaras!!! OMG! That's every color/variation of the product of the Eye Studio they have! I absolutely can't wait!!! Hope I get it in the mail SOON!! Too bad I just bought the MAC gel eyeliner and the CoverGirl LashBlast volume mascara (which I find it wasn't THAT great...though it didn't clump, it didn't give much volume as I had expected!!) Hope the Maybelline ones will work better! I've used XXL before and it wasn't bad..hope these ones are better!:D
Will post a picture once I get it in the mail!!

New Mascara!!!

I got a new mascara!! I haven't tried it yet...but I can't wait!! I got it on sale when Real Canadian Superstore had a sale for $4.xx! Can't remember the exact price now! But it was about half price! I've heard really good reviews about it, and told my coworker I bought it, and she said her friend highly recommended it! So...I bought one for her as well!!
Anyone tried it? I'll update the blog once I've tried it!:)

Danone DanActive

Recently, I had a chance to try Danone DanActive. I am a BzzAgent, which means I receive product samples, coupons, collateral, or other special premium from BzzAgent. You can also become one by signing up at www.bzzagent.com for free! I was accepted into the campaign and received a coupon for a pack of DanActive! Upon entering the store to redeem my coupon, there was a DanActive promotion booth outside handing out free DanActive! I had my first sample and thought it wasn't too bad. It tastes a bit like diluted yogurt at first, but the more you drink, the better it tastes! DanActive is a probiotic drink that helps your immune system! Perfect for flu season;) I've personally only tried the strawberry flavored, and it's pretty good!

Olympic Madness!
ALRIGHT!! Here's the long awaited Olympic post!! As mentioned before, I went to watch Short Track Speed Skating LIVE!!! It was AWESOME! Words cannot even describe the atmosphere!!
This was the Womens 500m semi finals! Canada made it to the finals! I watched many different events, but will only post up the more interesting ones!

This was one of the most confusing events I ever watched! It was speed skating relay, and Canada, China, and Great Britian were ALL wearing red! It was so hard to follow!! But it was super fun! The crowd just cheered no matter who was winning! LOVE the crowd!

It was a full house for sure!

Then watched womens finals! CANADA GOT SILVER!! The crowd were on their feet cheering like no tomorrow!!!

Presenting the flower ceremony!!
That was an amazing experience and wish I could have watched more live! But of course, there are many more amazing things to do! Hit up the Royal Mint, and got to see the 1 Million Dollar coin, which is now worth 3.3 million! its HUGE!!

Also got to touch the Olympic medals! They were REALLY heavy! (no pic yet, they were taken with cellphone, so quality not so great!!) They also had a mini exhibition telling you how they made the medals! Such an awesome experience which resulted me in getting these:

in which I had to lug them back on public transit!:D
Hope you all enjoyed!!:)

FlyersCoupons Canada
Before I get into the main topic, I'll be posting up my Olympic pictures in my next blog! Not quite enough time to do so...actually have a midterm tomorrow! YIKES!
I shouldn't really be on here but I just got too excited about a new site!
http://flyerscoupons.ca
This site is really organized! I'm sure most of you have been onto the more popular sites like SmartCanucks and RedFlagDeals, but I really find that FlyersCoupons is a bit more professional and organized. Flyers and deals are organized based on stores, unlike SC and RFD. FlyersCoupons just launched today, and I already see great potential in it! There are lots of stores that you can click into to see the deals.
IMO, I find this really useful if you are in a rush to find a particular deal for a particular store or something! You also don't need to search through many threads just to find a flyer etc!
Hope you will all enjoy it! Might need some time to learn where everything is! I believe FlyersCoupons is still in beta mode, and there are lots of places to leave comments about what you think!
*promise I'll post up my Olympic ventures up soon...and my great shopping deals!

Vancouver 2010 Olympics!!!

WOOHOO!! Alright so this isn't much of a shopping brag, but what the heck! Vancouver 2010 Olympics deserves a blog of its own:D Finally had a chance to go to downtown the other day!! Isn't the cauldron amazing? (BF took the pic!:D) The atmosphere is totally different with the Olympics in town!

So many people! The whole world is here!! Also, a lot of roads are blocked off, making them pedestrian only roads! We 'jay-walked' legally!:P

Olympic Athletes Village...CANADIAN VILLAGE!!

I'll be going to watch Speed Skating live tomorrow!! Will post some more pictures up!
Enjoy!
